What Else is There Left to Say?

2022 is all but over. As I reflect on this year and anticipate the next the thought that continues to cross my mind is, how much does the next year matter? For me 2022 is ending with a strong dose of reality. I am learning that a lot of this does not matter. Fundamentally what we get caught up in on a day-to-day basis is not important in the grand scheme of things.

Most of what we experience is not real. Things that matter are the things that matter most. When you examine life for what is most real you see that most things are not real. Showing your love to a family member or spouse is real. The state of your soul is real. Who you believe you are is real. Money is not real. Your societal status is not real. A lot of your concerns are not real.
