Why Empires Rise and Fall

Before civilization and modernization there were humans. A male and a female. They would live in forests, deserts, on beaches, and or other natural habitats. There are humans who still live like this today. These people hunt and gather, build shelters, entertain themselves, so forth and the like. Another thing they do is have children. As people throughout history and today have children and develop a taste for various goods and things in this world, they travel. As people travel with or without their family, they encounter other individuals.

It's in this encountering of other individuals that we begin to see an advanced human dynamic develop. People leave home for all sorts of reasons. In the Bible leaving home is a prerequisite of life. You’re not truly living until you leave home. Some people leave home because their village or what have you is too small. Some people leave because they are pushed out. And others leave because they are inspired to discover something new. Throughout history as people would leave their birth homes and encounter other people and or wildlife, they would need to figure out how to protect themselves.

Consider a male lion cub. When a lion cub is old enough he is pushed out of his pride, for their can only be no more than three male lions in a pride, and the alpha male lion isn’t going to allow himself to be usurped. The point of this is to highlight that while a human may or may not be pushed out of their birth home, once they leave, just as a male lion cub must, they have to figure out how to survive on their own. Some believe this is how civilization and empires start.
