It’s the top of the year, and while you’re excited about the possibility of it all, you may also be finding yourself coming up against additional responsibilities in your life. It’s not uncommon for a new year to bring new requirements into your life. As life continues, it will occasionally demand more from you. All of us only have 24 hours in a day. The frustrating part is when you have a to-do list a mile long to complete and you are unsure where to start. Time management is an invaluable skill that will at the low end of the spectrum, help keep you organized, and on the high end, extend your longevity.

Your time is the most important thing that you have. And while your responsibilities may be paramount, if you cannot do them effectively, you will be worn out. Humans have limits. The only superhuman ability you have is how you delegate your time. If you can master how you spend your time you will become efficient. Efficiency is a superpower in that it allows you to do more with less. When you can do more with less, you regain your most precious commodity. Once you are precise and have your time back it doesn’t matter what life requires of you, because at that point you’re equipped and capable of rising to the occasion. Don’t let work, family, and social responsibilities be higher on your priority list than you.
