How to Be Taken Seriously
I’ll start by saying that you don’t have to prove yourself to anyone. You are you. You will never not be you. No one will ever be you, no matter how bad they wish they were or wish they could replace you. Your fingerprint is one of a kind because you are one of a kind. Sometimes in life you may find yourself in a space or place where the nouns around you don’t take you seriously. They say projective things like, “you’ll never accomplish that.” Or that you should give up and be a loser like them. Their maladaptive behavior is unfortunate and a symptom of their inability to integrate their personality, and or take care of themselves. But ultimately their shortcomings aren’t your problem despite how much they may try to make them be.
It's important to understand various power dynamics. Some nouns try to exercise power over you because they think they can and as a justification for their miserable life. The truth is everyone has a certain degree of power, including you. One reason why you may not be taken seriously is because you allow certain nouns to influence your behavior. You need to adopt the qualities of a strong man in your personal life. Who cares what others do, know what you’re going to do, and execute.
